PACK Trip - Virginia Point - 1/31/10

We've had a lot of really bad weather around here lately. It's either raining, cold, windy, or all three. This PACK outing was originally scheduled on the 30th, but the weather was so bad, it was moved to the 31st.

I love Google Earth. It has helped to hatch many an adventure for me and the idea to run the Salinas River is one such hatchling.

My dad lives in Atascadero and he drove down to the bridge on Hwy 41 to snap some beta pictures of the Salinas River after a week of heavy rain. (>see photo below)
