U.S. Waveski Championships October 1st 2nd 3rd 2009
Sebastian Inlet Florida
Florida State Parks has granted us permission to hold our US Waveski
Championships at Sebastian Inlet State Park. This will be a first time for
anything other than a surfboard contest, First time ever for Waveskis to
Surf Sebastian Inlet, Historical event for Waveskiers!
2008 US Championship Open was taken by New Zealander Tony Cherry with the
United States Tyler Lausten and Fletcher Burton coming on very strong
directly behind T.Cherry. We also had competitors from Peru and South
Africa.
What Country will come and compete for the 2009 US Open Championship? Will
the Kiwis go for a 2nd win? Will the US keep the Open Championship trophy
in the U.S. this year? Will another country come and show us what they can
do? We will see...
How's your Game?
Test your skills against the best from the America's and around the world.

Remember it is Florida so the weather is typically nice and warm for camping.
Don't forget Florida has lot's of cool places you can go with your family
too, Disney, MGM, Epcot etc.. Are maybe 1 hour away.
Like space travel? Cape Canaveral is 45 minutes north. Miami/Fort
Lauderdale is 2-3 hours away.
Good time to book travel now. What a place. How often can you surf
shirtless and in baggies for 2-3 hours straight and still sweat a
little..? And at a beautiful tropical place with World Class
fishing, diving and watersports of all types and superb campgrounds and
quaint inexpensive little surf motels. Don't miss this one.!
