--No nails, no high tech adhesives, no modern equipment; raw and beautiful in its simplicity and art.
César Newashish, a 67-year-old Attikamek of the Manawan Reserve north of Montreal,
uses only birchbark, cedar splints, spruce roots and tree gum.
