hi guys i live in the adirondacks in the summer, clearwater fl in the winter, bit nippys so far this winter ,waiting for some sun and fun ,hopefully soon

I had an Ocean Kayak Frenzy and sold it because I wanted something a little nicer. My wonderful sister gave me the suprize of a life time when she bought me a Future Beach Angler 160 for Christmas. I was speachless. I haven't used it because everything is all frozen right now. I am so excited for spring though.

I bought my Venus 11 this past spring before the season in Ohio for flatwater really started. I am so happy with my kayak. It is not as wide and stable as the bigger kayaks, but it is quite easy once you learn your center of gravity! I enjoy the light-weight aspect and the speed...I out paddle all of the guys I go with because I do not need to work as hard to get going and then maintain my speed. The trick is to just relax and not over compensate...then you flip! Only one person has flipped in my kayak...and it wasn't me! I love it! It is one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Hi all! Just tried out my Ocean Big Yak for the first time today. First kayak I've owned; had a canoe before. I've been thinking about going all day today, dying to get out of work. It was worth the wait. I think I can get the setup and disassemble down fast enough so I'll be doing this every day. Like others here, I'd like to trim down a bit too. Lost 35 lbs. in the last year, and ready for some more. So far, I think kayaking's peaceful, beautiful, blissful and wonderful. All the -ful words I can think of. Far as the Big Yak goes, I think I got a great deal on a boat that's going to do exactly what I hoped for. It's stable, comfortable, and lots of room to take my dog on board plus other sundries. I think it'd be pretty easy to swim off of, easy to get back in. This summer is going to be awesome! Glad I'm in Tahoe.

Have had my Frenzy for a couple months and love it! Its so sturdy and it tracks great! I am now Hooked on Paddling, I live on a boat in Florida so all I have to do is step off my boat onto my Kayak and paddle away. I too am losing weight and this has really been a great way to sneak in fun exercise. I mostly paddle around the bayou I live in but love taking it out to the rougher water on the bays and ICW.

Cannot imagine using anything but my Ocean kayak SOT. So safe, stable, durable and user friendly. Really I am a lifelong surfer, but my work is kayaking and this makes it easy to take out anyone, and be confident. Geoff,

I have a 10 foot perception SOT. We have a backwater lake on the Alabama River that I've taken it to. The water is calm so I've been trying to learn some basic techniques. By the way, thanks for your tips on your site. We have a location a few miles from here on the Coosa River close to Montgomery, AL that has a variety of white water that is a favorite spot for folks to go to. I'll give it a try in a week or so. We also have a small creek in our local town that has a mile or so stretch that can be used.

I have been on the lake three times already this year, I live in Maine!! It's simply dazzling out there. A little windy one day, but just perfect. I miss it so much in the winter around here.

Congratulations on losing weight. I'm working on the same thing, and already have some new boats picked out for when I do!
