Ok thanks again

The T-100 is a little small for bay use in my opinion. I think you'd get better tracking from a T-120, not to mention that I don't think you can put a rudder on a T-100, which you might want to do in the future. If your only option is new, I'd pay t…

Alright I found a local dealer who is selling the tarpon 120 for 715 dollars. But they have the tarpon 100 for 560. So should I get the 120 yet? Also what about the heritage red fish? Because they have them pretty cheap.

Alright cool thanks

Look around for a nice used Tarpon 120 or a Perception Search 13. Both are pretty versatile and would work well for the areas you want to fish. You should be able to find one of those for what you want to pay.

I will be fishing in a bay I think. It is called willoughby spit and I am pretty sure it is connected to the Chesapeake bay. I will be catching mostly striped bass and I think there are trout there to.

I should clarify. Where will you primarily be using it? A kayak that is good in the surf isn't the best performer in the bays, etc. My own kayak is great in the bays, but probably not so good in smaller rivers and streams. I would take it there, but…

Yeah, fishing is mostly my main goal. I will be fishing in bays, riviers, lakes, and maybe the ocean. I am 6' 4" and about 160.

First kayak help

Hey I was wondering if you guys could help me choose my fist kayak. I am going to want to fish in it, but i was wondering if there is a kind of all around kayak. but I can not have it to long because I don't think my parents want a huge kayak in the garage. I think 12' would be max. So I was wondering if you guys could help me. Also I don't want to spend to much about 600 is my limit. So, if you guys have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
