This is good advice. I think I will write the month/year I bought mine on the inside in permanent ink somewhere. As the years fly by, it's easy to lose track of when or what year something like a PFD was purchased. Thanks for the heads up. :-)

The trick is getting this info out to the masses who don't know any better - the "rec boaters" who paddle maybe 10 times a year.
